I’ve always wanted a pet that loves both land and water habitats. However, my superstitious parents believe that owning a turtle will slow down one’s life and eventually prevent new experiences from happening. I don’t believe in all that, of course. Reptile care is often underestimated and it does require more effort than any other type of pet. I’d like to have a reptile pet in my home one day but for now, it’s better if I leave them in the hands of professionals.

After delays and long lines at the airport, I was glad to finally have boarded the last flight of my month-long summer trip and could not wait to get this flight over with. As I opened the window shade, Mother Nature forced me to take my words back.

I live on the Hudson River and see the Clearwater Sloop regularly. One afternoon the light was perfect, so I ran outside and grabbed some photos of it. This one is hanging in my living room.

I was taking a stroll with my newborn nephew at a local park, enjoying the quality time, scenic views and warmth of the day. As the sun set the sky turned hundreds of different colors, reminding me of the effortless beauty of nature. The Manhattan skyline served a perfect canvas for the colors to transform. It was one of those moments where you have to be in the right place, at the right time, with a camera ready.

I was wandering around Brooklyn’s riverside at dusk when I stumbled upon East River State Park and a closed off pier. I was able to rig up this long exposure poking my lens through the fence. It was a hot summer evening and the park was bustling so shooting this deserted pier really felt like a luxury!

I was on the corner of 69th and Lexington. Once I saw how the sky bridges formed a symmetrical view. I pulled out my phone and snapped.

I ran to cross the road in the crazy manhattan traffic and as I was half way across I looked up and saw the lines of the buildings pulling me visually.

It was a Sunday afternoon, minutes before the start of NYC’s Hispanic Heritage Parade. I was walking along 5th Avenue and this building stood out right in front of me.

This, like my last New York shot, was taken during my last trip to New York City. This was taken from the top of the Rockefeller Building looking towards the Empire State Building. If you look close you can see the Statue of Liberty in the upper back right.

As we were driving into New York, I saw this sign for the first time, and just knew that I had to get a photo of it. Every day, walking out of our hotel, I would look up and hope for good clouds and lighting, and on day three, I finally got lucky.

This was my second time in NY city and I had a mission to take a good picture of this landmark because I failed to do it first time. I used my Joby Gorillapod and ND filter in order to capture a crisp long exposure shot and spent quite some time sitting on the ground, playing with different settings, trying to catch a perfect vehicle trail.

I was in the US for the first time, I have visited all the places and that includes Empire State Building, I’ve been waiting for the sunset 4 hours there, I was freezing but it was worth the shot. Hope you like it.

New York, New York. The city that never sleeps. The Big Apple. The city so nice, they named it twice! Whatever name you know the city by I think it’s safe to say everyone will recognise the bright lights and high rises that help make New York, New York. I spent 6 days exploring the big city, from night viewings on the Top of The Rock to golden hour on Brooklyn Bridge and it lived up to and surpassed every expectation I had. I was in NY with my brother for a week of street photography and exploration. Shooting the Empire State building was at the top of my list. I wanted to bring out the fact that he dominates the city despite other high buildings -a central and majestic skyscraper.

This picture what was made from the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar in NYC. From there you have an amazing view directly to the Empire State Building. While making this photo the weather switched rapidly and the clouds and fog curled around the building.

I was just amazed by two things. How this place is really beautiful and how amazing an iPhone picture can be. Day light really helped.

This is one of the best places to view the sunset in New York City. Over on the Brooklyn side in Dumbo is this cove that offers views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Jane’s Carousel and the Manhattan Skyline.

Found a incredible burger joint that sits on a rooftop midway above the city in lower east side manhattan called Tavern 29. All the lighting and accessories were all part of the experience.
